Στον πυρήνα της εικαστικής πρακτικής της Ευγενίας Φαλιαρίδου βρίσκεται η έννοια της μετάβασης της ανθρώπινης παρουσίας εντός του χώρου και του χρόνου ενός περιβάλλοντος. Στο έργο της εμπλέκεται η συνύπαρξη ετερόκλητων στοιχείων υπό το πρίσμα μιας αφαιρετικής προσέγγισης και της ανακατανομής της ζωγραφικής φόρμας. Χαρτογραφώντας το σύγχρονο τοπίο, γεννάται μια νέα οπτική πρόκληση, προτρέποντας τον θεατή σε νέες αναγνώσεις. Έχει παρουσιάσει έργα της σε ατομικές εκθέσεις και έχει πάρει μέρος σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις και φεστιβάλ στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Διδάσκει στην Τριτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση και συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικούς φορείς και οργανισμούς οι οποίοι προωθούν την εκπαίδευση μέσω της τέχνης.
At the core of Evgenia Faliaridous’ artistic practice is the concept of the transition of human presence within the space and time of an environment. The coexistence of disparate elements through experiential learning?? – experience and observation is approached through an abstract lens and a reallocation of the painted form. Mapping the contemporary landscape gives rise to a new visual challenge, a new image, prompting the viewer to contemplate new interpretations. She has presented her work in solo show exhibitions and she has participated in group exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad. She teaches art in higher education and she collaborates with private educational sectors and organizations promoting education based on art practices.
