Maria Zisopoulou was born in Larissa. She studied Painting at the School of Fine Arts of AUTh in the 2nd workshop, with professors Kyriakos Mortarakos and Dimitris Zouroudis. She had an exclusive collaboration with the record label Traumraum based in Berlin for cover design from 2017 to 2019. From 2018 to 2020, she taught painting at the Free Workshop of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa – G.I. Katsigra Museum. She has participated in group exhibitions in Greece and abroad and has presented her work in two solo exhibitions in Greece. She participated in the annual exhibition “Rooms 2021” at the Kappatos Art Hall in Athens (January 22 – March 6, 2021) with the project “Who am I? Who I am,” presented the project “Color stories” at the “climax” courtyard (June 22-27, 2020), participated with visual action in the music experimentation festival “Flow” in Athens at CHIMERES (July 9-10, 2020). At the Hatzigianni Cultural Center of Larissa, she presented the art exhibition “INTERACTION” together with Dimitra Oikonomou (May 20-30, 2019). In 2019, she also undertook the artistic supervision of the Benesha project in Larissa, while in February 2020, she participated in the annual contemporary art exhibition “Performance Rooms 2020” at the Kappatos Art Hall in Athens, where together with Dimitra Oikonomou, they presented the performance #INTERFACE. Since 2021, she has been collaborating with Gallery Braggart. In April 2022, the sculpture installation titled “Forms of nature” was placed in a roundabout in the city of Larissa. Recently, in collaboration with George Ayfantis, they present the project “find your 4th dimension.”
